I am quite fond of this little simple design. II know it is not advertised to hang a hammock from but it seems to work quite well and its titanium for gods sake. If Dutch's bling can hold a hammock the Titanium XL loop alien should do just fine. I found there to be a slight learning curve but after a couple youtube videos I was in business. In the past I have hung my Hammi from both caribeaners, and cinch buckles and I find the loop alien to be the fastest simplest easiest and sexiest way to hang. I no longer have to fiddle with bulky twisted webbing, and stubborn cinch buckles, not to mention the Alien makes for a great drip line.
